2022年1-4月雅思口语新题型

  2022年1-4月雅思口语新题型

  Memory (记忆) [ NEW ]

  1. Why do some people have good memory while others just don't?

I think because those people of good memory are sclected by Nature. I really envy them, as good

memory is crucial for studying. Although good reasoning seems more important, remembering all

the things learmed in lectures is essential. I think those people with better memory are just more

enthusiastic about what they leam. After all, interest is the best teacher.

  2. Why do more people rely on cellphones to memorize things?

Right, it looks like what is happening. When I was a kid and there were no smart cellphones at all,

my parents were able to store hundreds of telephone numbers. Obviously, people are going

backward. The only number I can remember now is my own number. Because ellphones are too

powerful, people are prone to using them instead of their own brains. If there is a handy and

affordable database, why bother to bother ourselves?

  3. Are you good at memorizing things?

Yes. I have many methods to help memorize things. They include a mind map created for some

things logically linked, a story to remember a set of new words and homophony to memorize

somebody's cellphone number. The magic of memorizing things is rooted in the way things are

organized in your mind, just like the books in the library. Y ou retrieve the information you need

  via a set route.

  4. Have you ever forgotten something that was important?

Sure and that is not unusual. If I am obsessed with something else, I do forget another thing. There

was a time I forgot to bring my keys with me because I was in a rush when I left home. The lesson

I learned from that is to get prepared earlier than needed.

  Work (工作)

  1. Do you work or are you a student?

I am currently working now. I got a part-time job working in an educational institution as a

  teaching assistant.

  2. What specific things do you do on your job?

I am responsible for making speaking tests and writing tests for students. And I use the test results

to assess students' ability in English speaking and writing.

  3. Do you like your job?

I quite enjoy my job. The first reason is that I myself enjoy learning English very much and my

job is all about teaching English, and I can actually learn a lot from my job. Also, my colleagues

are all very nice. They are willing to help me out whenever I need them. So, I like my job there.

  4. Will you change your job in the future?

I guess I will, because my current job is actually a part-time one. In the future, I plan to go to

graduate school and when I finally graduate, I will choose another job based on my past working

  and study experience.

  Study (学习)

  1. Do you work or are you a student?

  I am a student now. I am a junior in a university.

  2. What's your major?

I major in intermational business, which is about economics and global commerce.

  3. What kind of things do you learn at school?

Well, our major courses include accounting, intermational trade affairs, finance, organizational

management and so on. And we also learn advanced math and English writing as general courses.

  4. Is it dffcult?

Well, not all of them, but I do think advanced math is quite tricky. I am not so good at math, and

our lecturer always talks at a fast pace, which makes it more diffcult for me to understand.

  5. Why did you choose this major?

I choose international business as my major because I think I can learm a lot about commerce. It

helps me build a comprehensive view of today's business world, which is of great help to me

when I plan my career in the future.

  6. What's your plan for the future after you have finished your study?

I will definitely get a job. But I enjoy learning so much that I will stay in school for a lttle longer

to obtain a graduate degree. After that, I may choose to work as a lecturer in a university.

  Home/Accommodation (住宿)

  1. Do you live in a house or apartment/flat?

I currently live in an apartment. I rent it for 3 months, and I live there only in this summer holiday.

  2. Do you like it?

Yes, I quite like it. Although it isn't very big, I don't need to share the space with someone else

and I can always make myself comfortable and do whatever I like without annoying other people.

  3. What's your favorite part of your home?

It has to be the study in my new house because I enjoy reading very much. There are so many

books on the bookshelves in the study that I can always just grab a book and read there for a

whole day ifl don't feel like doing anything else.

  4. What kind of apartment or house did you grow up in?

I grew up in a typical residential apartment with my parents and my grandparents. It was on the

seventh floor of the apartment building, with a living room, a kitchen, and three bedrooms.

  5. What was the best part of the place?

I think the balcony must be the best part. From the balcony, I can see a park and an ancient city

wall surrounding the city. It was always quite pleasant to appreciate the scenery from the balcony.

  6. What kind of place do you want to live in in the future?

To be honest, I would like to live in a house in the suburb. I prefer quiet places, so city is really

not for me. Also, I want to keep a pet in the future, and a house is definitely more suitable than an

  apartment.

  7. Do you know anyone who lives nearby?

Yes, I know quite a few people living nearby, and some of them are my schoolmates. It is a small

community and I have been living there for about 8 years, so I know most of the residents there.

But now there are some new people who have moved in recently, and I don't know them that

  much.

  8. What's your neighborhood like?

Well, I think my neighborhood is a very friendly neighborhood. People living there are all very

kind and helpful when someone is in need. And we will share delicious food during some festivals.

  此外给大家说说怎样使用新题库

  可以掌握当季度的口语题库,将题库进行整理归纳,并且针对不同的topic进行练习,并且对每一个话题进行思路演练,并熟悉观点输出、举例说明等句式,整理口语素材有时也是有助梳理答题思路,并且不断积累地道的表达;

  考生充分准备保留的原话题,并且要记住一些高分素材,学会举一反三;不要机械背诵全文的答案,而要用自己的话理解叙述,重点在掌握思路和地道表达;

  多与外国人模拟,真实的语境是任何背诵都替代不了的,最重要的还是开口练习和纠正反复训练;

  反复熟读句型、语法不太好的考生不用过于纠结语法,出声朗读句型造出的句子,以此来提高语感,自然的表达比磕磕巴巴怕出错更重要;
